And the story goes
Ilaria Ricci
Ilaria is a fun, warm and welcoming host who is excited to share her local cuisine and Fiorentino traditions with travelers. She has a wide repertoire of dishes and everything she does is made from scratch with the freshest of ingredients and of course lots of love.
Originally from the northernmost town in Tuscany Massa- Carrara (the place where the white marble of The David and The Duomo is from) Ilaria left Italy for France where she trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris in both Cuisine and Pastry.
She then moved back to Florence Italy where she now calls home.
After working in Michelin star awarded restaurants, Ilaria began working as personal chef and has been holding cooking classes for over 11 years now.
She masters Italian and Tuscan cuisine as well as French, Fusion, Vietnamese, Middle Eastern and Japanese cuisines and is able to take care of special needs like gluten free, lactose-free, and other food allergies.
She also deeply respects Religious needs as Kasherut and Halal, and can accommodate Vegetarian and Vegan guests as well. She is a professional sommelier and offers food and wine pairing experiences.
